To enhance the Chalk Twins’ artwork we have added augmented reality to each Chalk Twins image. What does this mean? Well, it means that when you download the Artivive free app to your phone you can point your phone at any Chalk Twins artwork and you will see a timelapse or animation appear for that artwork.

We’ve added this feature for two reasons. First, for almost every Chalk Twins performance we capture the performance in the form of a timelapse. By tying the timelapse to the artwork you get to see the performance and you’ll know the image isn’t AI. It is definitely traditional art created by two artists working together.

Secondly, there were some times when a timelapse wasn’t captured when the artwork was originally created. For those pieces we’ve created a fun animation that brings a new level of interactive entertainment to the art.
